Bio and how they support artists
I am a musician as well as a Spotify playlists curator. I always aim for tasteful, unique, beautiful, and soulful sound rich in meanings and attitude, all of which you'll find in my playlists. I will always listen to your song and truly think about it in depth. Please, give me a bit of time to do that. I am usually as fast as possible.
I must say I am quite into acoustic and singer-songwriter stuff, but I also get off on alternative stuff and harder rock/punk-influenced music if it is melodic and different. Surprise me and show me something I have never seen, whether it is soft vocals, unexpected harmonies, or poetic lyrics.
I am sorry, but rap/hip-hop, mainstream pop, any 'sexy ladies' or 'shake your booty,' or a monotone beat simply won't make it into my playlists as those are not my personal preference.
Playlists | Genres | Moods:
Dinnertime soft indie - indie folk, indie pop, singer songwriter, sometimes even alt pop if it's indie and soft enough
ROCK that sounds like DOCS - alt rock, pop punk, indie pop, indie rock, soft rock, synthpop (sometimes), art rock (sometimes), any more alt rock-y styles
Christmas beautifully different - holiday music from indie / alt / folky genres
may the FOLK be with you - folk, indie folk, alt folk, singer songwriter, americana
synth-aesthetica - synthpop, synthwave, indie electronic, experimental electronic, indietronica
Synthetic Sirens - synth and electronic tracks by female artists/with female vocals
Easy-to-listen country-inspired songs - alt country, americana, indie folk, singer songwriter
.darkpop - dark alternative or electro pop, but not mainstream or sexy
the ethereal list - dreaminess of a dream pop or trip hop kind of spectrum
dis.covered - unique takes on cover songs
songs of hope – hopeful singer-songwriter
Other than Pretty in grey, I accept all moods EXCEPT FOR angry (aggressive) and sexy.
Pretty in grey is sad / melancholic only; #wearedifferent is about songs that are too hard too class; acoustic, unexpected about acoustic songs that did not fit my other playlists; love is, love isn't are gentle love songs; pop your dreams is dream pop or dreamy alternative pop (never commercial though); Slow, slow, slower's about slow burn songs that are still melodically standing out; Abandoned places soundtrack is darkness, mostly instrumental or eerie with vocals.
If I approve your song, I will add it to my playlist for at least 1 month (may also be 2). If the song is very very good, it stays longer, sometimes much longer.
I accept tracks for the first 20 positions only, usually 7-15, if very very good, even higher. They of course move down as new tracks are accepted.
