Bio and how they support artists

Entrepreneur and cultural manager, singer, songwriter, creator of the Skatedra festival in 2004, and founder of House of Artists in 2017. He has served as curator for various festivals and organizations in Costa Rica. At the age of 18, he began his career as a promoter and producer in Costa Rica. He produced a compilation of Costa Rican punk titled “Con los puños en alto” and developed the website LaEscapatoria.com, which for over five years was dedicated to promoting artists, music, and events in the country. He produced several national and international concerts and created the Skatedra festival, where artists such as Cultura Profética, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Panteón Rococó, Todos Tus Muertos, among others, have performed independently. In 2006, he began his career as the lead vocalist of the band La Milixia, with which he has performed at festivals such as Vive Latino, Skatex, Rock X La Vida in Mexico, Patria Grande in Cuba, and other shows in Colombia, Guatemala, Panama, and El Salvador. He has won two ACAM awards (Costa Rica’s Association of Musical Composers and Authors): Best Songwriter for his album “Ska, calle y memoria” in 2009 and Best Songwriter for the single “Tu viaje” in 2022. He worked as an assistant in the production of international events in Costa Rica for artists like Aerosmith, Il Divo, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Korn, Dream Theater, Ska-P, and Evanescence, among others, as well as children’s shows like Ice Age, Madagascar, and Lazy Town. He has participated in cultural music markets in Latin America such as Circulart in Medellín, BOMM in Bogotá, and Mercadito en Llamas in Guatemala. In 2017, he founded House of Artists, an agency dedicated to artistic promotion, development and marketing, cultural management, event production, and artist management and booking for both national and international acts. House of Artists has produced international shows featuring: Jessi Uribe (Colombia), Alberto Plaza (Chile), No Te Va Gustar (Uruguay), Attaque 77 (Argentina), Los Cafres (Argentina), Desorden Público (Venezuela), Bersuit Vergarabat (Argentina), Green Valley (Spain), and Los Caligaris (Argentina), among many others. From 2018 to 2023, he worked as a Promoter and Label Manager for Warner Music Mexico. We help promote artists in Central America or assist in producing live shows throughout the region.
