Fast rising groove dealer EMJIE hasn’t gone unnoticed with her blissful approach to today’s electronic soundscape, seamlessly blending classic house music with modern indie dance. Former resident of the renowned radio Studio Brussel, she has spread her aura in Belgium but also internationally, performing at iconic venues & festivals such as Fabric, Lofi, Sisyphos, Zamna, Fuse, Bar Americas, Pukkelpop, Tomorrowland, and many more. EMJIE is riding high on the hype of the Keinemusik phenomenon, with her recent radio show for the Berlin collective, securing her spot in the scene. Her breakthrough B2B with superstar Diplo at CORE Tulum last January, set the tone for her musical journey, as she is now off to new endeavors with upcoming releases on major labels like Get Physical, marking her undeniable rise in the electronic music world. Production-wise, she crafts dynamic tunes featuring retro leads, housemade vocals, powerful basslines and energetic percussions, infused by her rock and old school universe. With previous releases on Renaissance, Tensnake’s imprint: True Romance, and Mexican infamous label Phisica, she’s received strong support from Chloé Caillet, Joyce Muniz, Damian Lazarus, Adam Ten, Pedro Winter, Sasha, Deer Jade, Mano Le Tough, DJ T, Musumeci to name a few. Since 2019, EMJIE has played massive stages and shared the booth back to back with legends such as Diplo and Maxim Lany. She also joined impressive billings with noted artists like Paul Kalkbrenner, Dixon, Adriatique, Roman Flügel, Stephan Bodzin, Agents of Time, Ben Böhmer, Lee Burridge, Lilly Palmer, and many others. Her sensitive energy allows her to bond with the crowd and always select the right tracks to curate a journey in every set she plays.
