Since 2010, a mysterious music radio is making moves on the world wide web. Native indians’ Pow-wow, Rio’s Favela Funk, Congolese Soukous, Atantla’s Trap, Syrian Dabke, U.K. Grime, Catalan Rumba, Bollywood Disco, Jamaican Dancehall, Caribbean Zouk... thousand of local music bangers, fresh or vintage, are given a spin 24/7 without any ads or talks.
Secousse is also a record label, specialised in reissuing rare and sought after afro-caribbean albums in vinyl and digital format. 13 projects have alrady been released, with more to come: a record-book format has just been announced, as well as an original motion picture soundtrack.
The mastermind is called Etienne Tron: a French DJ, record collector and music producer. He’s also a music supervisor for films, brands and venues. He’s been in the music game for more than two decades.
